System, Network & Security Administrator

Hired as a System, Network & Security administrator to join the production team. Our main duties are to maintain the plateform up & runing with the minimum downtime and to analyse performance and implement the necessary changes if needed.
The environnement is PCI-DSS compliant, which makes us to think very carefully about of any changes and keep tracking any potentials vulnerabilities

Tasks :
  • Maintaining a high availability environnement : Nginx, Tomcat, Oracle, Linux, MySql, Squid
  • Administration of versioning & integration tools : GIT, GitLab, Jenkins
  • Administration of Virtualization infrastructure : VMWare, XenServer, Docker
  • Bug tracker : JIRA & GLPI
  • Deploying systems using automation tools : Chef & Ansible
  • Maintaining the infrastructure : Linux, Windows, Juniper, Cisco, PFsence
  • Monitoring the Web Application using Nagios and ELK Stack (ELasticSearch, Logstash & Kibana)

Promoted as System and Network administrator to strengthen further the Infrastructure team.
Based in HQ, at Levallois Perret, we have in charge the system functionality to ensure ongoing operations. I had the opportunity to participate and manage many different projects.

Tasks :
  • Daily internal users support, level 1 to 3
  • Installation, maintenance & optimization of infrastructure
  • Coordination and deploy of server updates and preventative maintenance with limited downtime.

Acting as Helpdesk IT to provide 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support over the telephone, remotely and face to face to internal staff members for 44 properties in Europe

Tasks :
  • Daily internal user support
  • Installation and maintenance of systems: ThinClients, Laptops and desktops
  • Computers cloning using the hardening guide
  • Producing documentation and user procedures & guidlines
  • Ensuring that daily, weekly, monthy and yearly backups are succesfull
  • Implementing and managing Active Directory with different group policies
  • Maintenance of antivirus protection & solutions

IT Support

During two years as a member of IT Support, I had in charge the daily support for 70 users, servers admnistration with several services : DHCP, DNS, AD, Files & Printers.
I was also managing the inventory using GLPI.
